Just because my eyes can’t see your face, it doesn’t mean they aren’t day and night scouring the horizon for your magical smile. Just because these arms haven’t held you for a long-long while, it doesn’t mean they don’t remember the shape you have left imprinted in time and space when I hugged you for the last time. Just because my tongue and mouth haven’t spoken your name out loud for what feels like centuries, it doesn’t mean the sound of you has been lost to me forever. Just because we’re apart, it doesn’t mean my heart has stopped longing for you every day…still.
