They will be born and die and say, ‘Please give us one more day.’ But little do they know they have eternity ahead of them. Their souls will sing while their bodies still cling to this life as anchors dragged across the surface of a bottomless sea. ‘Just one more breath,’ they plead. But the light, o God, the light is already here.
