She admired people who seemed to always know what to do. Who sit down with their partner and talk things through. Who never go to bed angry with each other. And say ‘I love you’ with no heavy heart to one another. Always quick to forgive when that is the wisest thing to do. Because they know that is what will eventually pull them through. But she, on the other hand, is stuck. Trying to -fix- a past relationship that went out of luck. Still, she soldiers on, hoping to solve that puzzle one day. A squeaking sound, the wheels of time slowly churning away.
