I was a mistake
You felt sympathy, but there was no desire nor lust

I was safe,
A warm blanket, a distraction, an escape

I was never what you wanted,
But to be fair to me, you did not know what you wanted yourself

Girls want sugar and spice and everything nice

Admittedly there were some things that were nice
but I never could bring you any of that sugar and that spice
