Long ago

look up and pierce the dark silky sky

hold up your hands and start to fly

pretend the stars are shining bright

imagine the moon is out of sight

breath in the cold welcoming air

hold on a little longer, don’t despair

torture yourself, with images long ago

then breathe her out and let her go
